My name is Neath. I am a native Khmer speaker who is also fluent in English as I scored an overall band score of 8.0 on my IELTS test.
My professional background is in market research, branding, and marketing. I spent 3 years working as a qualitative research manager, specializing in consumer insights, for a top (and only) international research agency in Cambodia. Having conducted over 50 studies for both social and commercial clients, I have extensive knowledge in qualitative’s research design and methodology in various research areas such as market entry, concept & product test, communication evaluation, and consumer segmentation. Over the years, I have shaped myself into a highly skilled moderator who has moderated over 217 FGDs, 138 IDIs, and 30 immersions in key different categories including alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, retail banking, personal care, and education.
Apart from my work as a researcher, I’ve been working as a freelance translator, transcriber, and copywriter for close to 2 years. My clients are mostly from the following industries: tourism, education, sport, F&B, banking and finance.
